Literary and Artistic Encounters: An Exceptional Sunday at Casa Païral

Event Details

Join us on Sunday, May 17, 2026 , from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM , for a day of cultural sharing in our garden. Admission is free and open to everyone. This event titled "Authors from Aqui and Elsewhere" offers a unique chance to meet passionate creators in a beautiful setting, with the support of municipal technical services.

Personalities in Attendance

Mylène Desclaux: Author and advertiser who grew up in Collioure. Creator of the Happy Quinca blog, she wrote the bestseller Les jeunes femmes de 50 ans translated into 7 languages.

Brigitte Farines: Novelist and psychologist living in Collioure for 20 years. She will sign her works where the village is always present, including La joie de vivre ou le risque d'être soi.

Laurence Haloche: Figaro Magazine journalist and author who spent her entire childhood in Collioure. She will present her novel L'Ombre du temps.

Anna Ferrière: Author of the art book-object Les Papillons de Collioure. She uses Fauvism as a metaphor for inner change.

Caroline Chemarin: Teacher and author for all ages. She shares Collioure's secrets through her tales such as Cabosse and Rousquie et l'arc-en-ciel magique.

Nathalie Du Lac ("Liths"): Visual artist and photographer committed to ecological transformation. She is known for her Land-Art projects such as The Pink Tree in Collioure.

Pascale Oriot: Award-winning novelist and journalist. She will sign her thrillers and novels including Vous me reconnaîtrez and 113 vies + 1.

Fabienne Clolus-Pierre: Author and former jazz dance teacher. She offers a literary journey with titles like Le Premier Dimanche de Juin and Un aller pour Séville.

Nicole Anglès: Author of novels blending history and intimacy. She will present her stories of travel and feminine destinies such as The Mirrors of Udaipur.

Karen Karbo: American novelist and journalist settled in Collioure. She is the author of The Gospel According to Coco Chanel.

Laurence Gillery: Historian and journalist. She will present her work on botanist Charles Naudin and his local acclimatization garden which inspired Matisse.

Fabienne Potherat: Artist and PhD in psychoanalysis. She shares her research on the links between art and the psyche.

François Desclaux (Special Guest): Passionate collector. He will exhibit his personal collection of Collioure paintings by great masters.
